dayli.space Gets a Public API

We've launched the first version of our REST API, giving developers and power users a structured way to interact with dayli.space from outside the app. Whether you're building a custom workflow, connecting a tool you already love, or automating repetitive task updates, the API covers all the essentials — creating tasks, marking them done, managing notes, handling duplicates, and more.

Plugins Just Got Better

Our plugin system has been rebuilt to use this new API layer instead of talking directly to the database. This means plugins are more secure, more reliable, and easier to maintain going forward. If you use any integrations with dayli.space, they'll continue to work seamlessly — and future plugins will be faster to build and safer to run.

Snappier Task Lists

We've also fixed a behind-the-scenes performance issue where milestone information was being fetched repeatedly as you scrolled through your task list. That extra work has been eliminated, so your lists load faster and feel more responsive — especially when you have milestones across multiple projects.
